Special Olympics World Winter Games Switzerland 2029

World Winter Games @ National Games Zug

When anticipation becomes a reality, a major event begins long before the first competition.
The 2026 National Games in Zug provided the stage for a first glimpse of the 2029 Special Olympics World Winter Games Switzerland. An interactive experience area brought the upcoming major international sporting event to life three years in advance and invited visitors to discover the world of the World Winter Games in a fun and engaging way.

Services

For the event, Adcom developed an overall concept that brought the World Winter Games to life years before the actual major event. At the heart of the concept was a specially constructed curling rink where visitors could get involved themselves. The interactive experience was complemented by a striking archway, an event tent, and a large countdown to the 2029 World Winter Games. The various elements were brought together to form a cohesive brand and experiential space. In addition to concept development and production, Adcom was also responsible for all event management and logistics. This included coordinating implementation, transportation, setup, and takedown, as well as on-site operational support.
